For the third year in a row, SOM has topped Architizer’s list of 100 Best Architecture and Design Firms in the United States.
“From a strategic regional plan to a single piece of furniture, SOM’s designs anticipate change in the way we live, work and communicate and have brought lasting value to communities around the world,” Architizer editors report.
The No. 1 ranking reflects the breadth of our award-winning work and interdisciplinary approach. Since 2013, SOM has earned 27 Architizer A+ Awards and 45 finalist recognitions. This year alone, we received six A+ Awards for projects across a wide range of typologies and scales, including The New York Climate Exchange, Waldorf Astoria New York, Sultan Haitham City in Oman, LG Corporate Headquarters in Seoul, Sany IROOTECH Headquarters in Guangzhou, and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
