We are proud to share our annual Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) report. As the second published survey of initiatives, projects, and efforts across our global practice to achieve the goals defined in SOM’s 2020 DEI Action Plan, this report continues our commitment to maintaining an open dialogue about equity in our firm, in our industry, and in the built environment that we shape through our work.
As we reflect on the past year, we want to take this opportunity to celebrate the ongoing efforts of our colleagues and the dedication of resources that make this work possible. At the same time, we recognize that there is much more work still to be done, and we remain committed to continuing these efforts for many years to come.
While we have created this report for our SOM community, we are once again making it available to the public in the hope that this transparency will inspire others in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry to follow suit. By sharing resources, best practices, and data, we can all work together to create a more diverse, inclusive, and equitable industry.
