Luke Leung and Dawveed Scully to Speak at PechaKucha Event in Chicago

On March 19th, Luke Leung, SOM Director of Sustainable Design, and Dawveed Scully, Senior Urban Designer, will speak at a PechaKucha Night hosted at the Chicago Architecture Center. During the course of the evening, a series of presenters will speak on a variety of topics, using only 20 slides for 20 seconds each. Leung will present “Towards a Post Carbon U.S., and Twice as Efficient,” and Scully will present “Collaborating to Design the Just City.”

PechaKucha is a presentation format created by architects in Tokyo in 2003. Today, PechaKucha Nights are hosted regularly in cities around the world, featuring creatives from across a variety of disciplines. The presentations are designed to uncover unexpected talent and new ideas, and explore a variety of topics including projects, personal experiences, and more.
