SOM’s Keith Boswell and Lisa Follman will speak at the 2017 Glass Performance Days (GPD) Conference in Tampere, Finland. The event, now in its 25th year, will include more than 180 presentations by leading practitioners and influencers in the glass industry. Multiple sessions over the course of the conference, held from June 28-30, will include Glass and Sustainability, Market Trends, Smart Glazing, and Glass in Transportation.
Both Boswell, a Technical Partner, and Follman, an Associate, will lead workshops in the event’s Glass and Sustainability session on Thursday, June 29th. Boswell will discuss design concepts in facade work, while Follman will present a case study highlighting design and collaboration at SOM.
GPD was founded in 1992 to facilitate information exchange among glass processors. With the theme of “Growth. Knowledge. New Generation,” this year’s conference aims to support continued industry growth through education, knowledge exchange, and the linking of experienced professionals with the next generation of practitioners.
