On October 2, Joo Cho, SOM Associate Principal and senior urban designer, will co-lead a session at the APA California Conference titled, “Suburban Reinvention: Imagining the 15-Minute City in California.”  During the session, Cho and John Beutler, an Air Pollution Specialist for the California Air Resources Board, will discuss a contextually sensitive model for development, and explore how California can meet its sustainability goals given the unique land use, transportation, and regulatory conditions in the state.
