On March 9, Senior Associate Principal Georgi Petrov will participate in a panel discussion—“Space Architecture for Spaceship Earth”—as part of the South by Southwest Conference (SXSW) in Austin, Texas.

While space exploration has historically been seen as a separate endeavor from the issues we face on Earth, it has become increasingly apparent that innovations and solutions developed for space missions can have valuable applications. The panel will discuss how to bridge this gap between space and Earth to address the challenges on our home planet.

In addition to Petrov, the panel will include François Lévy, Vice President, Synthesis International; Olga Bannova, Research Professor, University of Houston, College of Engineering; and Melodie Yashar, VP Building Design & Performance, ICON.
