David Diamond, Technical Associate Director in SOM’s San Francisco office, will speak at the ARCHx lecture series at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo on Wednesday, February 22nd. His lecture, titled “Light and Shadow: A Case Study on the Cathedral of Christ the Light,” will explore the process of designing this architectural landmark in Oakland, California. A Cal Poly alumnus, Diamond will also discuss his career path and work with SOM.
ARCHx is a lecture series hosted by Cal Poly San Luis Obispo’s chapter of the American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS) chapter. The series aims to expose students to the breadth and depth of the AEC industry through talks from a variety of practicing professionals and companies.
