SOM is now accepting applications for Year One—a comprehensive career development program that allows our newest team members to get the most of their first year in the profession. Students completing a degree in 2024 in architecture, engineering, urban planning, or interior design are invited to apply.

Launched in 2018, the Year One program is rooted in the culture of mentorship and knowledge sharing that defines SOM. Selected applicants will have the opportunity to work with senior-level mentors across disciplines, join colleagues on site visits, receive resources to succeed on the ARE exam, and more.

The Year One program is a full-time entry-level position, open to recent graduates with one year or less of work experience. Applications for the 2024 program will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
