Chicago, IL: SOM Chicago Director of Interior Design Jaime Velez, FIIDA, ASID was honored on October 18, 2012 at the IIDA Illinois Chicago Leader’s Breakfast. He was introduced by past honoree Carlos Martinez before a sold-out audience of more than 500 at the Palmer House Hotel. Velez was chosen for the distinguished honor by a group that included past honorees, national benefactors, and past presidents of IIDA Illinois.
