Halcon Mesa Conference Table

Project Facts
Project Facts

Designed by SOM for the workplace furniture company Halcon, the Mesa conference table pairs integrated technology with an uncompromising modern design, customizable to suit meeting spaces both large and small. The carefully engineered steel substructure provides IT- and AV-friendly conferencing solutions with integrated cable management through a hidden series of trays. The slim table base maintains all functionality, allowing for hardwire or AC plug-in power connections through the drawers. Any number of power and data access drawers can be specified based on user need.

Flexibility and customization were key considerations in the design, as any size, base style, surface materials, edge trim, and shape can be selected by the user. Round and square tables are 48-inch, 54-inch and 60 inches across, while rectangular and boat shaped tables seat eight-20 people and are typically offered in any combination of 48 to 60 inches in depth and 96 to 240 inches in width.

The table has multiple options for a panel base or continuous base in either a wood or chemcolor finish to match the drawers. Surface materials range from natural wood or stone to sleek back painted glass and other solid surfacing materials. Even the edge trim detail can be tailored in a polished chrome, satin aluminum, or any other custom finish. The Mesa table gives designers, specifiers, and end users ultimate control over the finished product for each unique workplace.
