Meredith Bostwick-Lorenzo Eiroa to Speak at Roundtable Discussion on Learning Space Design

On Saturday, November 3rd, SOM Associate Director Meredith Bostwick-Lorenzo Eiroa will speak at the Learning Space Collaboratory Roundtable at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. The event offers an opportunity for academics and architects to discuss design for 21st-century education. Participants will share insight on innovations in campus design, lessons learned from recent projects, and best practices for engaging faculty, staff, and students during planning.

Bostwick-Lorenzo Eiroa will discuss The Cheryl and Philip Milstein Teaching and Learning Center at Barnard College in New York. Opened in September of 2018, the 128,000-square-foot interdisciplinary building is designed to facilitate collaborations and foster dialogue between students and faculty. The project includes a new library as well as expanded conference facilities, interdisciplinary workspace for four academic departments, and a new home for the Athena Center for Leadership Studies and the Barnard Center for Research on Women.
