As an Associate Principal and a studio head in SOM’s Chicago office, Sydney Brown is responsible for leading design and managing design teams in conceptual, schematic and design phases. Sydney has experience in a variety of programs, scales and regions. Sydney works with client teams to analyze project needs and develop unique design ideas that individually suit the project’s goals. She guides and coordinates the work of consultants with architectural documentation and works to maintain the quality and design direction throughout all phases of the project.
