BayArc, a Tidal Responsive Barrier, Honored in 2016 R+D Awards
SOM's BayArc, a tidal responsive barrier concept that could protect 500 miles of San Francisco Bay Area shoreline from flooding, has been recognized in Architect Magazine's 2016 R+D Awards. The award honors innovative research and technology that address large- and local-scale issues.
