Zarmine Nigohos and Roshanak Mostaghim Speak at Future of Mass Timber Symposium

On Thursday, September 24th, SOM architect Zarmine Nigohos and architectural professional Roshanak Mostaghim will present at the Future of Mass Timber virtual symposium. Hosted by The Architect’s Newspaper, the event will spotlight emerging timber technologies and exemplary timber projects across North America, including the Billie Jean King Main Library in Long Beach, California.

In “Timber Tectonics: Structure and Joinery,” Nigohos and Mostaghim will join Ashley Rao and Tom Chung from Leers Weinzapfel Associates to discuss the new levels of tectonic sophistication in mass timber design and construction. Matthew Marani from The Architect’s Newspaper will moderate the discussion.
