SOM Pride New York Visits Paul Rudolph Heritage Foundation

On June 13th, SOM Pride’s New York chapter participated in a private tour of the Paul Rudolph Heritage Foundation in Midtown Manhattan. Designed by architect Paul Rudolph, the Modulightor Building combines a set of duplex apartments, a design studio, and a showroom in a complex spatial composition. It is one of the few Rudolph structures accessible to the public in New York City.

Throughout Pride Month, SOM is celebrating the contributions of LGBTQI+ architects. Led by SOM Pride, the firm’s global LGBTQI+ network, SOM is hosting events in the firm’s offices worldwide, partnering with our communities, engaging in open conversations, marching in Pride parades, and more, to elevate the voices of the LGBTQI+ community in the design profession.
