On June 3, SOM Senior Digital Design Manager Robert Yori will speak at the KA Connect 2014 Conference in San Francisco. The event brings together senior and emerging leaders from top Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) firms to discuss strategies and tactics for building highly connected practices.
Yori’s talk, “AEC-APPS: Community as a Competitive Advantage,” will address the power and potential of the first web-based library of AEC applications built by and for tool users and tool makers. Conceived, designed, and maintained by SOM and the Center for Architecture Science and Ecology (CASE), AEC-APPS connects not only a wealth of information to people, but also people to each other. The service aims to lead the industry toward a model of collaborative knowledge and technology exchange.
