Nine SOM architects and engineers will present seven case studies at the 2019 AEI Conference in Tysons, Virginia. The theme for the conference, which is hosted by the Architectural Engineering Institute and Pennsylvania State University, is "Integrated Building Solutions: The National Agenda."
Shum Yip Tower One received the 2018 Excellence in Structural Engineering Award from the Structural Engineers Association of New York. The project, part of the Shen Ye Upperhills Mixed-Use Development in Shenzhen, China, was honored in the New Buildings category.
