On Tuesday, October 17th, Philip Enquist, SOM Consulting Partner in Urban Design and Planning, will participate in a panel discussion hosted by the City of Chicago on urban waterways. Titled “From Waste to Wonder: Developing The River as Chicago’s Second Coast,” the discussion brings together Chicago leaders in design and development to discuss the future of the city’s riverfront.? The panel is hosted in conjunction with the River Edge Ideas Lab, an initiative launched in 2017 by the City of Chicago Department of Planning and Development in partnership with the Metropolitan Planning Council.
The panel will be moderated by Todd Palmer, Executive Director of the Chicago Architecture Biennial. Enquist will be joined on the panel by John Buck, Chairman of The John Buck Company; Erin Cabonargi, Director of Development Services at Sterling Bay; and David Reifman, Commissioner of the Department of Planning and Development, City of Chicago.
