On Thursday, June 10 at 10 a.m. CDT, SOM project manager Peter Leoschke will be speaking at Midwest Build Week on the panel, “Lean for Construction: Practices Around the Globe.” The panel discussion will cover why and how lean for construction can reduce project waste and improve techniques globally.
The panel will be moderated by Uchenna Okoye, Sr. Sustaining Business Consultant (Autodesk) and will also feature Brad Booker, Regional Lean Manager for Great Lakes Region (Turner Construction Company), Brian Powers, AIA, LEED AP, Project Architect (SmithGroup), and Soliman Khudeira, PhD, SE, PE, Section Chief of Major Projects (Chicago DOT).
