SOM Mechanical Engineering Associate Director Marzia Sedino has been named as a 2020 40 Under 40 winner by Consulting – Specifying Engineer magazine. The annual program recognizes the accomplishments and contributions of individuals in the engineering community.
Sedino, a leader in environmental engineering at SOM, joined the firm in 2008. Her global portfolio includes the Pertamina Energy Tower, the Center for Character and Leadership Development at the U.S. Air Force Academy, and other green-certified designs. Her current work includes one of the largest net-zero master plans in the United States.
Candidates for the 40 Under 40 Award were selected by a panel of judges based on their academic and professional accomplishments, as well as community involvement. Winners will be presented with their award at a ceremony in Chicago in October 2020.
