On Wednesday, December 12th, SOM Director Mark Schwettmann will lead a tour of the Moscone Center. Designed in collaboration with Mark Cavagnero Associates, the project will expand and improve the San Francisco convention center.
On the tour, Schwettmann will share insight on the design and phased construction of the project, which adds more than 8,000 square feet of new public space to the existing site. Participants will explore various spaces, including the public outdoor terraces, light-filled atrium, and second floor ballrooms. The group will discuss the suspended eastern and western bridges, currently under construction.
