On Thursday, February 27th, Associate Director Georgi Petrov and senior architectural designer Daniel Inocente will lead a graduate seminar at the Department of Civil Engineering at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. In a presentation titled “Architecture in the Age of a New Frontier,” Petrov and Inocente will discuss how endeavors in space architecture could lead to sustainable solutions for future space exploration missions, and influence the way we approach the design and engineering of building systems. Additionally, they will examine how computational methods present opportunities to design human-centered experiences within highly constrained environments.
All graduate seminars hosted by the Department of Civil and Systems Engineering are free and open to the public.
