
On Friday, September 20th, senior architectural designer Daniel Inocente will speak at the Cosmos Club in Washington, D.C. as part of the PSW Science event series. Founded in 1871 as the Philosophical Society of Washington, PSW brings speakers from around the world to present the latest scientific research to the society’s members and the general public.
In a presentation titled “Space Architecture for a Moon Village: Designing for Space Habitation,” Inocente will discuss Moon Village, a research concept for the first full-time human habitat on the lunar surface. With the European Space Agency and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, SOM is master planning, designing, and engineering the settlement.
