In 1974 the architect Walter Netsch had designed his home in Chicago as a dynamic open-plan space on more than one level, governed by a complex geometry. An experiment that still holds good today. In its renovation of the house, in fact, the SOM firm has preserved the style and the internal relations perfectly, while adapting the ambience to suit the tastes of the new owners.
