On March 31st, at this year’s Society for College and University Planning (SCUP) Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference, SOM will present its progressive design for Barnard College’s Teaching and Learning Center. SOM Director Colin Koop and Associate Director Meredith Bostwick-Lorenzo Eiroa will discuss how their team engaged multiple constituents throughout the planning process in order to create a new kind of library—one that not only provides access to collections, but also uses state-of-the-art technologies and provides a diverse range of learning spaces within a physically networked, interactive setting.
The SCUP Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference brings together university leaders, architects, and planners for workshops and educational sessions on higher education planning. This year’s conference will be held at the University of Delaware from March 30 to April 1.
