In the divine detail category, an honor award went to a Skidmore-designed demonstration project in Oak Ridge, Tenn. In a news release, the AIA described the project, which is called Additive Manufacturing Integrated Energy, as a “3D-printed building … designed to produce and store renewable power and share energy wirelessly with a 3D-printed, natural gas-powered vehicle.”
