
Anjanette Green, Materials Specialist in SOM’s San Francisco office, will participate in a panel at the Living Future unConference 2015, which takes place from April 1-3, 2015, in Seattle Hosted by the International Living Future Institute, the conference will explore the true sense of place and community through restorative design. There, Green will join others to discuss the Living Building Challenge (LBC)’s first ever tenant improvement projects.
Green was appointed as the first ambassador of the LBC in China, where she has helped promote the LBC ideals to the country’s design community. The LBC is a building certification program, advocacy tool, and philosophy that defines the most advanced measure of sustainability in the built environment possible today, and acts to rapidly diminish the gap between current limits and positive end-game solutions.
