On Wednesday, October 14th, Alessandro Beghini, Associate Director of Structural Engineering, will give a presentation titled “The Engineering of Art and Architecture” as part of the Melbourne School of Design’s MSD at Home lecture series. Beghini will discuss the structural innovations behind 100 Mount Street in North Sydney and SOM’s structural engineers’ collaborations with world-renowned artist Janet Echelman. The presentation will focus on integrated engineering ideas that inspire change and new ideas.
