On Tuesday, June 6th, the Urban Green Council will recognize SOM Associate Director Brian Kaplan as a 2017 Service Award winner at its Summer Member Reception. Kaplan sits on the Monthly Programs Committee and has been an active member of Urban Green since 2009. In addition to helping to expand staff for the growing organization, Kaplan secured donated furniture for Urban Green’s new office in Lower Manhattan.
Urban Green Council is the New York affiliate of the U.S. Green Building Council. Established in 2002, the organization is dedicated to transforming New York City buildings for a sustainable future. The Summer Member Reception is open to “current, past, and future members of Urban Green.”
