On Thursday, April 6th and Friday, April 7th, Luke Leung, SOM Director of Sustainable Engineering, will deliver lectures to the Hong Kong and Macau Chapters of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). Leung’s presentations are part of a two-day seminar held in both cities by the host chapters.
In Macau, Leung will present on “21st Century Tall Building Design.” In Hong Kong, Leung will deliver a presentation titled “Live Long, Healthy, and Low Energy,” which explores correlations between the built environment and quality of life for urban residents.
A member of ASHRAE’s Distinguished Lecturer Program, Leung frequently presents on a variety of topics within sustainability and building design to the organization’s chapters around the world. Leung also serves as a member of the ASHRAE Environmental Health Committee; as a member of the editorial team for ASHRAE handbooks on tall buildings; and as an adviser on ASHRAE sustainability legislation.
