Sergio Sadaba to Speak at Campus Energy 2017 in Miami

SOM Associate Director Sergio Sadaba will present at the Campus Energy 2017 in Miami, a conference on sustainable energy systems in campus settings. Sadaba will lead a presentation on SOM’s Pertamina Energy Tower in Jakarta, the world’s first supertall tower for which energy is the primary design driver. Exploring the tower’s application of deep well geothermal energy in a combined heat and power scheme, Sadaba will explain how the supertall tower and adjacent campus are designed to achieve net-zero-energy.

The Campus Energy Conference provides opportunities for campus utility designers and technical experts to discuss challenges and present solutions for the planning and operation of efficient, reliable campus utilities. The event is organized by the International District Energy Association.
