SOM Director Eric Tomich
On Tuesday, October 20, Eric Tomich, SOM Architectural Technical Director, delivered a keynote presentation at SymEx 2015, a project management symposium and exhibition at the Novotel Hotel in Bogor, Indonesia. In his talk, “Managing Client Expectations and Addressing Project Challenges and Risks for Optimal Project Results,” he discussed the roles of effective communication, transparent and collaborative project estimation, and stakeholder expectation management using the case of Burj Khalifa’s project management and design implementation. Tomich spoke on how to employ a multidisciplinary approach that integrates technology, manufacturing, and craft to achieve the best possible quality from project commencement to completion.
