Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) has unveiled plans for a new 9-million-square-foot campus for Egypt’s National Cancer Institute (NCI) outside Cairo. To be located on a sloped 35-acre site in Giza’s Sheikh Zayed City district, the campus will treat more than 1.7 million patients annually and serve as a research and development center.
