Eight SOM projects are featured in this year’s AIANY Subway Show, “New York New Design.” The annual exhibition is now on view at Manhattan’s West 4th Street subway station. For four weeks, the station’s subterranean corridor walls are transformed into a colorful celebration of architecture designed by the members of the AIA New York Chapter. The show spotlights the diverse array of work being shaped by New York architects and engineers across the world—from master plans to small-scale residences.
SOM’s featured projects are: 250 West 55th Street, All Aboard Florida, Arcapita Bank Headquarters, the Bishan Clubhouse and Exhibition Center, the Center for Character & Leadership Development at the U.S. Air Force Academy, Denver Union Station, the Moynihan Station Redevelopment project, and Pertamina Energy Tower.
The exhibition is held in conjunction with Archtober, New York City’s month-long celebration of architecture. “New York New Design” will run through November 2.
