The penthouse popped up for $60 million a few weeks ago, but otherwise we’ve heard hardly a peep from the Baccarat Hotel and Residences, Starwood Capital’s and Tribeca Associates’ in-progress Midtown crystal palace. Perhaps that will change now that, according to a press release, sales have officially begun! The 50-story tower includes 61 apartments and a 114-room Baccarat Hotel. We care more about the condos, of course, so let’s turn our attention to those. The one- to four-bedrooms will cost between $3.5 million and the aforementioned $60 million and range in size from 1,000 square feet to 7,400 square feet, but there’s also the option to combine units should buyers not find anything to their liking.
