Yasemin Kologlu: The Covid-19 pandemic has had an unprecedented impact on urban life and social interactions. Suddenly there are many concerns about the viability and future of living in cities. At SOM, we have always believed that cities should be organic and resilient – places that can be sustainable and evolve as needed. So, in response to the pandemic, we have identified five adaptive archetypes for that can form a model for the transformation of our cities:
