On April 30th, 2019, Dmitri Jajich, Director of Structural Engineering, will speak at the Tall Buildings Conference and Exhibition in London. Jajich will discuss Manhattan Loft Gardens, a 42-story tower that combines residential and hotel spaces. In his presentation, titled “A Case Study on Manhattan Loft Gardens – Balancing Design and Constructability,” Jajich will highlight the design challenges behind the London tower. The building includes a uniquely engineered concrete and steel frame that supports the double-cantilevered tower and creates a distinct silhouette, with terraces, or sky gardens, carved out of the building’s profile.
