On Wednesday, September 27th, SOM Senior Designer Carlos Madrid moderated a panel discussion titled “Live. Work. Play.—Westside Lifestyle” at the Westside L.A. Expansion and Investment Trends event in El Segundo, California. Presented by Embarcadero Capital Partners and Westbrook Partners, the event took place at 777 Aviation Boulevard, a building originally designed in the 1960s. The SOM-designed project to convert 777 Aviation into a multi-tenant campus is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2017.
The event was part of the Westside Expansion and Investment Series, which features significant market players in the region and addresses relevant topics facing the commercial real estate industry. This year’s event centered on developments that are transforming the Westside region of Los Angeles, including the continued expansion of the area’s Silicon Beach.
