Gary Haney, RIBA, AIA, Design Partner at SOM, presented at the National Building Museum as part of the institution’s “Spotlight on Design” lecture series, which features architects and designers of distinction from around the world. Mr. Haney spoke about the history and meaning of tall buildings, using examples from SOM’s extensive portfolio of this building type, including the recently completed, 412-meter-tall Al Hamra Tower in Kuwait City.
