Peter Jackson is an architect and project manager who works with SOM's design team and clients on a wide range of commercial, residential, and large scale, mixed-use projects throughout the UK, Europe, Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
Jackson joined SOM in 2007 to work on major residential regeneration projects across London, before extending his portfolio to include projects in Europe, Dubai, India, and Vietnam. His work is representative of SOM’s interdisciplinary approach, with projects that draw together urban design, architecture, structural engineering, and interior design. As part of this work, he relishes the opportunity to achieve sustainability and socially-minded outcomes that can lead the industry forward.
With extensive experience managing complex projects in London, Jackson has recently led SOM’s involvement in the urban regeneration of New Covent Garden Market and 100 Leadenhall Street, as well as Karlatornet in Gothenburg.
Jackson is the practice leader for SOM’s work in Europe and contributes to industry-wide dialogue as chair of the RIBA’s Large Practice Expert Group.
