On Monday, October 15th, SOM Structural Engineering Partner William F. Baker will speak at the University of Cambridge’s Department of Engineering. In a lecture titled “Architecture and Structures in the Computational Age,” Baker will share examples of recent SOM research initiatives and projects. The event is sponsored by the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE). In 2010, IStructE ?honored Baker with a Gold Medal for his work and his outstanding contributions to the advancement of the structural engineering profession.
