This four-part video series explores the “Waterline” studio course led by SOM Partner Philip Enquist in 2011 at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. During the course, students in architecture, urban design, urban planning, and landscape architecture confronted the underutilized and under-appreciated South Branch of the Chicago River. Under Enquist’s guidance, the students seamlessly merged ideas from various disciplines while generating thoughtful design solutions both individually and as a group.
