The Land Transport Authority (LTA), a division of Singapore’s Ministry of Transport, honored Tanjong Pagar Centre in the 2019 Land Transport Excellence Awards. On Friday, March 29th, the project won the Best Design Land Transport Integration award at LTA’s award ceremony held at the Singapore Expo Max Atria. The award program recognizes projects designed for multiple modes of transportation and community connectivity.
Tanjong Pagar Centre is a premier business and lifestyle hub comprising office, residential, retail, and hospitality. It is highlighted by the “city room,” a large public component featuring public art and outdoor performance areas, ground-level retail, and an underground pedestrian network connected to the existing MRT station. The project includes a 6-story podium providing multiple levels of car parking, retail, restaurants, and entertainment, as well as the hotel, office, and residential lobby and amenities level.
