SOM Thinkers Panel Series Travels to London

On the evening of Thursday, October 11th in London, SOM will host the fifth installment in a series of panel discussions celebrating the release of the firm’s book, The Future of Public Space. This publication, the second book in the SOM Thinkers anthology series, is a collection of essays about how different types of public space—urban and rural, real and virtual—impact our everyday experiences in an increasingly privatized world. SOM Thinkers originated from a desire to start an inclusive and unconventional conversation about the built environment. Each installment of the series brings together leading voices on a single topic.

Taking place at London Review Bookshop, the event will be moderated by Chris Michael, editor of Guardian Cities, and will feature Victoria Wägner, Program Director at Publica, and Elizabeth Rapoport, Content Director at the Urban Land Institute. Daniel Ringelstein, Director of Urban Design and Planning at SOM, will introduce the panel.

The event is free and open to the public.
