The design for Burj Jumeira, an aerodynamic, 550-metre tower in Dubai’s Jumeirah neighborhood has been unveiled, revealing a futuristic aesthetic for what is anticipated to be one of the tallest buildings in the world upon completion.
“Burj Jumeira is bold, elegant, and dynamic,” said Mustafa Abadan, a partner at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP (SOM), the architect, structural engineer and designer of the project. “It will tower over Jumeirah as the centerpiece of the neighborhood, and will feature a synthesized architectural and structural design.”
