On Thursday, September 19th, SOM will participate in the Women in Architecture 2019 Powerful conference, hosted by AIA Los Angeles. The annual event, which began in 2013, features keynote speakers and panelists who will share insight on career development, business practices, and more topics in the AEC industry.
Three SOM leaders will be in attendance this year: partner Carrie Byles, FAIA; associate Lani Lee, AIA; and architect Kristin Akin-Zimmerman, AIA. SOM is also a sponsor of the event.
