SOM Participates in 2018 Greenbuild International Conference and Expo

The Greenbuild International Conference and Expo takes place from November 14-16, 2018, at McCormick Place in Chicago. During the event, architects and sustainability experts from SOM will lead guided green building tours and present on topics highlighting this year’s conference theme, “Human by Nature.”

Auxiliary events for the annual conference begin Monday, November 12th, with a series of guided green building tours taking place across the city. SOM will co-lead tours featuring new and recent work highlighting the firm’s approach to high-performance design. During the conference itself, SOM Director Luke Leung and Associates Arathi Gowda and Francesca Oliveira will present on innovations in passive design, resilience, and human well-being in the built environment.

Greenbuild is the world’s largest conference and expo dedicated to green building. The event brings together nearly 25,000 industry leaders, experts, and professionals working in sustainable building.
