SOM Design Director Sean Ragasa is the featured speaker during the 2019 Modesto Architecture & Design Week (MADWEEK) opening event. Now in its second decade, the festival celebrates architecture and various design fields, including fashion, graphic, interior, product, and user experience design.
Throughout MADWEEK, more than 5,000 people—both industry professionals and the public—will gather in Modesto to participate in guided tours, exhibits, workshops, and more. The festival is co-organized by the American Institute of Architects Sierra Valley Chapter and the Modesto Art Museum.
As the design director for the new Modesto County Courthouse, Ragasa brings an expertise in creating highly refined, enduring buildings. He has extensive experience across North America and China in supertall towers; large-scale mixed-use developments; and civic, government, and education projects.
