Roger Weber to Speak at 2018 APA Conference

On Thursday, September 13th, SOM Associate Roger Weber will speak at the 2018 annual conference of the North Carolina chapter of the American Planning Association (APA). The event will take place in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and will focus on the theme of community, connectivity, and change?. 

In a session titled “High Demand and Scarce Land: Planning for Growth in Valley Communities,” Weber will discuss SOM’s recent work on the Asheville Comprehensive Plan. Weber will share insight on the goals of the master plan and the role community engagement has played in its development. Matt Wetli of Development Strategies and Todd Okolichany, the Planning Director of Asheville, will join Weber in the APA conference session.
