On June 22nd, 2019, Design Partner Colin Koop and Associate Director Meredith Bostwick-Lorenzo Eiroa will participate in an LSC Roundtable at The New School in New York. The event centers on a discussion of the future of learning spaces.
SOM will participate in more than 20 events at this year's AIA Conference on Architecture in New York City. The conference, which features approximately 70 educational and networking events, includes seminars, workshops, and a two-day Architecture Expo at the Javits Center.
On January 26th, 2018, SOM Associate Director Meredith Bostwick-Lorenzo Eiroa will speak at the annual meeting of the Association of American Colleges & Universities (AAC&U). She will join a panel titled "The Physical Environment as a Key Element in Achieving 21st Century Learning Goals."
The Urban Land Institute has selected the University Center at The New School as a winner of the 2017-18 Global Awards for Excellence. Additionally, The Kathleen Grimm School for Leadership and Sustainability at Sandy Ground was shortlisted for the annual awards program.
